Hi I’m Phoebe!

Reading is a lifelong hobby of mine that brings me immense joy. RichReads Blog was started to connect fellow readers with great books and bookish content while also supporting authors by spreading news of their books.

I have recently introduced the RichReaders Newsletter, a monthly newsletter where subscribers get:

  • An automatic entry into a monthly giveaway for a book or gift card valued at $30AUD (winner also receives a shoutout on all my socials);
  • Small business spotlights (mostly bookish businesses);
  • Updates on upcoming book releases and
  • Other perks such as updates on my secret projects.

Books, reading and all-round creativity are my passions, and I’m so excited and honoured to share them with the world.

Thank you for coming along for this journey.

A little more about me personally…

I’m a neurospicy*, queer mood reader from Australia. My main genres are mystery/thrillers, fantasy and romance from middle grade (aimed at 8-12-year-olds) to adult. However, I do dabble in other genres.

I love books that include diverse representation in any form. I prefer my romance, especially contemporary romance, to be more about the characters and their lives, and they just happen to fall in love, rather than having the romance be the only thing the characters have going on in their life.

I am a self-confessed cover reader/buyer. Yes, this is a problem. However, I tend to pick books pretty well and rarely ever have to DNF (Did Not Finish). I also have the habit of going into a book blind or with little information (recommendations or just off vibes).

I am a creative soul and often take on creative projects. In line with that I have several secret projects in the works for RichReads Blog already that I’m super excited to share with you.

*neurospicy: a fun term used to identify as a neurodiverse person. Personally, I am AuDHD (autistic and ADHD). My brain works differently from neurotypical people.
